フラットヘッド リネンシャツ 百虎 桐箱入り

熟練の職人さんがリネン生地をインディゴ染めで仕上げ手捺染で柄入れを行っています。
インディゴブルーの生地を脱色し染色していく着色抜染は柄のにじみやプリントの濃淡にムラが出やすい技法で温度や湿度にも影響を受けてしまうためかなり難しい染色方法です。
これにより生地にしっかりと染み込みダイナミックな虎の表情を細部まで表現し躍動感のある仕上がりを生み出しています。
また、一目ではポケット位置が分からない程精巧な柄合わせはこの方にしかできないのではないでしょうか。
生地と生地を重ねて2本針の巻き込み縫いで縫製部分の強度を高めています。
コットン糸を用いたチェーンステッチによる巻き縫いは着用と共にステッチの間にパッカリングが生まれよりヴィンテージ感のある風合いへと経年変化をしていきます。
ボタンにはリネン素材とも相性の良いココナッツボタンを使用。

Skilled artisans finish the linen fabric with indigo dyeing and apply the pattern using hand-block printing.
The discharge dyeing technique, where indigo blue fabric is bleached and then dyed, is a highly challenging method prone to pattern bleeding and uneven print density. It is also significantly affected by temperature and humidity.
This process allows the dye to penetrate deeply into the fabric, vividly expressing the dynamic expression of the tiger down to the finest details and creating a lively finish.
Furthermore, the intricate pattern alignment, so precise that the pocket placement is barely noticeable at first glance, is likely a skill only this artisan possesses.
Fabric layers are reinforced with double-needle rolled seams for enhanced durability at the stitching points.
The chain stitch rolled seams, using cotton thread, develop puckering between the stitches over time with wear, evolving into a more vintage-inspired texture.
Coconut buttons, which pair well with linen, are used.
